Nada [ITA]
» Web site» Label: Infecta/Edel

She's only 15 years old when she makes her début at the Sanremo Festival in 1969 with the song "Ma Che Freddo Fa"; the song is a success in Italy and worldwide, followed by "Pa' Diglielo A Ma'" (Sanremo, 1970) and "Il Cuore E' Uno Zingaro" (winner of the Festival in 1971).
In 1973 she releases "Ho Scoperto Che Esisto Anch'io", an album of songs written for her by Piero Ciampi.
"Il Domatore delle Scimmie" is released the following year, thanks to the collaboration with the Reale Accademia di Music, an avant-garde ensemble.
In the album simply titled "Nada" (1976), she sings songs written for her by Paolo Conte and, again, by Piero Ciampi.
More successes and records are released in the followin year, after her moving from RCA to Polydor; in the same period, Nada starts acting, both for tv shows and for the theatre (with Giulio Bosetti, Dario Fo and Marco Messeri).
In the early 80's she records one of her most popular singles, "Amore Disperato", and other two records.
In 1994 she forms the Nada Trio (an acustic outfit with Fausto Mesolella and Ferruccio Spinetti of Avion Travel).
The real turning point in her career is in 1999 with the album "Dove Sei Sei" (Polygram/Universal), entirely written by Nada. The song "Guardami negli Occhi" brings Nada on the Sanremo stage again and leads her to a collaboration with Adriano Celentano.
She continues with all her projects, including one of sacred music called La Terra e L'Anima.
Other records are recorded in the following years ("L'Amore E' Fortissimo e il Corpo No ", "Tutto l'Amore che mi Manca", produced by John Parish and with the contribution of Cesare Basile, "Luna in Piena", ) and two books ("Le Mie Madri", and "Il Mio Cuore Umano", both edited by Fazi).
In 2010, after a collaboration with the Zen Circus for the track "Vuoti a Perdere" (contained in the latest album of the Pisan band), she records her new album "Vamp" (Infecta/Edel), produced with Manuele "Max Stirner" Fusaroli in Ferrara and London.
