Eveline is a European ensemble born in Italy in 2002. The band started its career with some self releases, followed by their first official album – “happy birthday, eveline!!!” – which was released in 2005 by a small Italian label called SHYREC. The album was then republished in 2007 by Sopot/Alive!, which distributed it in Italy, UK, Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland. The band started a tour which reached several clubs and festivals around Europe, sharing important stages with bands like Calla, Mono, Faust and Ulan Bator.
The second LP (“Waking up Before Dawn”) was released by Sonic Vista (UK/Can) was welcomed by the European critical mileau as one of the most interesting independent releases of 2008, exhorting the band to compose new material.
In 2011, after 3 years from waking up before dawn, they present αω, a special European corelease by Sonic Vista (Uk), Urtovox (Ita), Locomotiv Records (Ita), Borowka Music (Pl), 8 fascinating tracks which find their fil rouge inside a particular and refined musical research.
