Buzz Aldrin [ITA]
» Web site» Label: Ghost/Unhip

Buzz Aldrin is a three-piece band consisting of Nico, Gelo and Giallo, formed in Bologna, Italy, at the end of 2008. Buzz Aldrin was the second man who landed on the moon, or Johan Hastard's question “Buzz Aldrin, What Happened To You In All The Confusion?”, his first novel. Buzz Aldrin, the band, is at the moment one of the most popoular and powerful band playing in Italy (the band also played in France, Switzerland and England).
This is their first release, recorded at the Outside Inside Studio in Montebelluna (Italy), on june 2010, by Movie Star Junkies and Vermillion Sands' bass player Nene, and mastered by Carl Saff at Saff Mastering Studio, Chicago.
Unhip Records and Ghost Records, two of the most eclectic italian indie-labels, co-produced this debut album, an hypnotic mix of hard rhythms, floor toms, sharped guitars and experimentations.
There are giant rabbits and white churches, shamanic voices and post-punk attitude, nine tracks as powerful as nine explosions.
Drums, guitars, bass guitars, lap steel guitars, effects synths, percussions, played as one.
40 years later, (this) Buzz Aldrin could write a different story.
